Support for adopted young people
When we carry out assessments and reviews
You will hear your parents talk about getting support for your family. We gather information during an Assessment of Need. We can talk to your parent/s but we will also invite you to tell us what they think the concerns your parents have and what your own concerns as young people are. You can do this directly with us with your parents present or not or you can write it down for us to read or ask someone you trust to help you. We want to hear about home life, school life and your social life so we can explore a support plan for you which is meaningful to you.
Where you as a young person are already in therapy or receiving support from us, we want to hear from you how you feel it is going, what is working and what is not working? We want to know what could be better?
