Adoption Support Services Adviser (ASSA)

In line with Adoption Regulations,  ACE has Adoption Support Services Adviser (ASSA) whose role is to give advice and information to anyone affected by adoption. This can be about services available and how to access these including information about how to request an ‘assessment of need’ for adoption support and what happens following this. Information is also available about the support services available in the region.

Requests for advice or information about adoption support services in the first instance can be made contacting ACE on 0300 369 0556 and requesting to talk to the duty social worker. 

The ACE Spoke teams provide adoption support services and directly report to the ASSA who is Louise Hathaway – Operations Manager.
