| Course description |
The First Year of Placement is an informal workshop focusing on your first year with your child/ren. It is an opportunity to come together with other adopters to share your experiences (good and not so good), ask questions and generally seek some support. During the session we will be exploring; the court process, life story and later life letters, meeting with birth parents, post placement depression, therapeutic parenting recap and supporting challenging behaviours therapeutically. |
